Unable to file a CIS300 return without filling in a UTR and an Accounts Office reference number.
When a company has a CIS payroll and they try to submit CIS300 they may receivethe following message:
‘You cannot do a CIS return without filling in a UTR and an Accounts Office Payment Reference for your company‘
This is usually due to a UTR number which has been missed off, this can be found by clicking the company name and selecting the ‘Payments‘ tab. At the bottom you may find a section for a UTR number which has not been added. Once filled in, The CIS300 should submit correctly.
If there is still an issue, you will need to make sure that all the relevant and correct CIS information has been added.
